A Des Moines Blizzard in 3D

Got to Des Moines late sunday night, very tired from our travels.    On Monday, we hung out with Melisa, having a good visit, despite the blizzard that has hit the city.    We are reminded of Laramie, Wy. last year with the road conditions--the blowing snow, the ice, and nothing to block the fierce wind.  

Went to a nice place for lunch, Le Me  , a french cafe style.   It was excellent.   We then went to see Avator, in 3D.    It is wonderful!   We highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it!   It is amazing, an incredible.   The entire "world" of Pandora is CGI.   (that, i learned, means "computer generated images".)
We loved the new 3D, and the glasses!  Quite a difference from the old 3D, and the old horror movies!

Went to dinner at Django's, it was excellent.   Surprising and nice to find such good eats here.

We will leave on Wed. to continue the journey!     Nice to have a cozy stop at Melisa's!
