A Calistoga Mud Bath in Yountville

We drove up to Napa today----fairly close by, and a nice day for a drive.    Stopped at the outlets in Napa first, which was good.   These outlets are really good, they have stores that you don't usually see.   I found a "CAbi" outlet,  which is a place that Sally loves.    This is clothing that has been selling in homes--you have a CAbi party, and the consultant comes and brings the clothes that you then order.  I've never been to a party, but it's supposed to be fun.  This outlet has all last seasons' clothes that were left over.

We then decided to play golf at this fairly easy course in Yountville.   We wanted an easy course to practice, since it's our first time out.Oh good grief, it was so muddy I felt like i was taking a mud bath!  We had to slosh through muddy grass to get to our ball, and of course, we had to keep the cart on the path.   it was very dirty!

This was also my first time playing since my cataract surgery, so I wondered how I would see.   (notice i didn't say how I'd "play"!)   I could see o.k., I think I won't need glasses.   As for playing well, well, that's another story! Pat

Napa was quite nice after golf we did walk around Yountville and looked at the menus of the high priced famous chef restaurants. Maybe we will treat ourselves to one really nice meal while we are out here.
