Dan and Pat at Calistoga Jazz Festival. We really had fun. Last year we went to an event at Mondavi winery, and that was good also, but this was nice because they had several jazz combos playing in different venues. We both really like Calistoga. I think a
Calistoga mud bath is somewhere in our future on this trip. This may seem very elementary, but for those of you who are not so computer savy, if you click on anything highlighted or underlined in this post, it will take you to a web site. We did do some wine tasting, and also ate some unbelieveable french fries with Truffle oil, parmesan and Garlic at Hydro's in Calistoga. (Dan)
While sampling the wine, while sampling many wines, we wandered into a ladies clothing store where they had both wine and music. Oh, so comfortable. So I started looking at clothes, and lo and behold, found some nifty little things! I spent more than I normally do, but really had fun. When I sobered up later, during the night, I did second guess myself. But, when I tried them on the next day, I found I did make good choices. Anyway, the perfect storm was having the good wine and good music in a good clothing store!
