Is This a Nightmare or What?

Met this couple at the San Rafael Film Festival last night.   We met them last year through my cousin, Mickie, as the man is her cousin.   Very nice couple, and they like movies.   So the theater, a beautiful restored theater, has many film festivals, and this one was the "It's Mostly British Film Festival."   We went last year and really enjoyed it.
This year, the film was "Bilibo", an Australian film with Anthony LaPaglia.   I thought it was a mystery or a suspense movie.   OMG, it was like a nightmare!    It was about the Indonesian invasion of East Timor, after the Portuguese left, and how no one came to their rescue.   The Indonesians silenced any of the journalists who tried to report it, so no news was filtering out either, until 24 years later, when they left.  The movie focused on one journalist, Roger East.   If you are interested to read more, here is the link:

We did not enjoy it!!!!!!!   It was brutal and depressing!   Yes, it was supposed to be, but we hadn't' expected it at all.    It was good to learn about this, I didn't even know where East Timor was, and knew nothing about them.     But it was not enjoyable!   I do not recommend it.   Obviously.
