it is Obtainable to be Sustainable

Well, what to have for dinner?   Oh, aren't we all so sick of this!   It doesn't stop out here, believe me.   But, i had an idea, let's buy our whole dinner at the Farmers Market in San Rafael today, make it all sustainable.
So we did!   Off we trotted to the market, and bought it all local.   We will have Halibut, Caesar salad, and a vegetable soup.  I got the veggie soup recipe from the Ann Arbor On-Line paper today, it's very healthy.

I also decided what to have for dinner at Jay and Lindsey's on Wednesday, so if either of you are reading this, you will know!  I bought some homemade pizza dough, and thought I'd make that with all local products too!

My book group upnorth recently read the Barbara Kingsolver book about cooking and growing only local food.  (I can't remember the name of it, I must not be eating enough healthy brain food)  Anyway, we all decided to try to eat sustainably once a week.   I haven't, but I am tonight.

Later, we drove out to Sonoma, it was warm and sunny and lovely.  We walked around there, tried to go to a winery, but really didn't want to pay the $10 tasting fee. We went to the town of Sonoma, walked around the square and then neaded back to Novato and watched the Super Bowl.
